| "Breaching" is a painting that evolved with layers of glazes. It has an upward movement that
is reminiscent of whales or dolphins breaking the surface of the water. The repeated diagonals suggest a series of repeated movements, like
ocean waves. Two forms just touch at right angles in the center near the top, with the only suggestion of architectural form. Everything
else is organic. |
